Zilan left her native Iran on foot at the age of 12. She hoped for a better future in Europe. She was on the road for 4 years.

She experienced various refugee camps under the worst conditions in Turkey, Greece, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. She came through Germany before she was accepted in Belgium. Her residence permit is still being processed and it is not yet certain whether she can stay.

After she has some fractures of nose due to multiple blows to the face, now iHelp-ev help her with nose surgery on February 18, 2021.
She will be attended to by an excellent surgeon and specialist in rhinoplasty, Dr. Nikola Krizmanic Hamburg.
