Our team in Madagascar iHelp e.v. - Dr. Erdmann
Our team in Madagascar

iHelp was founded on 27.05.2018 during the founding meeting at the Stocks Restaurant in Hamburg, Germany. The 7 founding members decided on the goals of the charitable society and formed a constitution that was acknowledged by the Tax Office Hamburg-Nord. Our charity is a registered association, noted as "e.V." with the following vision:

"Our charitable purpose is improving healthcare for people in need both domestically and internationally, as well as fundraising for the implementation of this tax-privileged purpose through other tax-privileged entities and bodies of public law.

The initiator of the charity is Dr. Hanieh Erdmann who, by being inspired through her exceptional work with Pro-Interplast in Madagascar, aims to send the children that are less well-off to schools and support their well-being. As a result, Dr. Erdmann started two projects which have already raised fundings. These and more projects are accompanied through iHelp.e.V. and its voluntary activities and members and is funded by donations. These collections will 100% support and aid children and people in need.

Narindra suffers from a restricted range of motion as a result of burn scars, living alone in the shrubs. Now since 2018 and after some surgeries, her movement is improved and Narindra can finally fulfill her dream: to go to school!

Run4Fun

In the course of our work with iHelp e.V., we witnessed many children who were accompanied by all their relatives coming from far away to be treated for “club feet” so that they can have a chance at healthy, bodily development. Through this, our project “Run4Fun” was birthed to create new opportunities.

Unlimited Commitment

Within two weeks we perform up to 150 operations under the toughest conditions. Without air conditioning, laboratory or the modern diagnostics known to us all medical and organizational work must be carried out by the doctors themselves.
